Software for car workshops: from the plate to the invoice

HADAB Car is the edition of HADAB for car repair, electrical and oil-change workshops. Type the plate and the car and its owner fill in by themselves, tap the problem instead of typing it, open the work order with its parts, labour and the technician in charge, and at delivery the tax invoice is issued, the next service is set and the customer is reminded on WhatsApp. The screens are big and simple, because most technicians have little schooling.

The work order

Parts from stock, labour, a clear status.

  • Parts leave the stock at delivery; labour is free lines
  • For each labour line the technician and the hours
  • Status: checking → waiting for approval → repairing → ready → delivered, with a WhatsApp message to the customer
  • Warranty on parts: a part given free leaves the stock with the reason «warranty»

Technician earnings

Each technician's commission on his labour.

  • Set each technician's % once in the settings
  • A «Technician earnings» report for the period: jobs, hours, labour and commission
  • Warranty labour is left out of the commission

Delivery and the invoice

  • At delivery a tax invoice compliant with ZATCA Phase 2; the deposit is taken off it
  • The odometer is saved at delivery

  • After each delivery the next service is set after so many months or kilometres (you choose in the settings)
  • A «Service due» list of cars whose time has come, with a WhatsApp button to remind the customer

  • Print an estimate with prices and VAT, and a work card for the technician without prices
  • A customer link by QR or WhatsApp: the status of the car and the estimate, one tap on «I approve»
  • Intake check: fuel, scratches, up to 4 photos, the customer's signature at receiving and delivery

Questions about Car workshop software

Is HADAB Car a separate program?

It is the same HADAB program with an edition for car workshops: the menu starts with the work orders, and sales, stock, purchases, customers, reports and accounting (Accounting plan) stay as they are.

Is it simple enough for technicians with little schooling?

Yes. The intake screen has few fields and big buttons, common problems are picked with one tap, and the plate fills in the rest for a known car.

Does it keep a history for each car?

Yes. Each car is known by its plate, and you see all its earlier work orders with parts, labour and odometer.

How does the customer remember the next service?

After delivery the next service is set (by date and kilometres as you choose), and the «Service due» list sends a WhatsApp reminder in one tap.

How is the technician's commission worked out?

You set each technician's % in the repair settings; it is taken from his labour on the orders delivered in the period (warranty labour excluded).

Is there a link to an OBD scanner or a parts catalogue?

No. The program has no OBD scanner link, no parts catalogue and no insurance claims. You write the scan result in the order's diagnosis.

How much does it cost?

The POS plan is 1,500 SAR for the first year, the Accounting plan 3,000 SAR for the first year, then 575 SAR a year, all with VAT, and a fully featured 14-day trial.
